He may be one of the hottest stars down south, but that has gone to the humble Madhavan`s head. In fact, he`s quite aware of the fact that many south actors haven`t really made it big in Hindi films. He blames in on their accent. Also, since he was born and brought-up in the north, he believes that he has an advantage here.

But call him the Hrithik Roshan of the south and he plays down his own success. "Comparing me to Hrithik wouldn`t be fair to me nor to Hrithik," he says. Although he debut Hindi film Rehna Hai Tere Dil MeinM didn`t do quite well, the actor plans to persevere. With that kind of attitude, wouldn`t be surprised if he beats the odds after all!
